GOOGLE CLASROOM I Reflection 85/100
What did you do? (Write down significant
facts to back up your reasons)
I
finished the stage in college and at this
moment I am in practices in a school, in Ikaztegieta. Even so, I have not
forgotten my English project, the Aurreskua, and I am also doing different
things to learn new things about dancing and about practicing dance too.
On the one hand, I have tried to
find new information about the dance like historical information on the
Internet. After looking at different web sites, I found one link which I think
that could be very interesting:
On the other hand, I asked for help
to a friend ( Ane ) to practice the steps of this kind of dance with her. For
that, she came to my house one afternoon and we stayed practicing the dance
together during a long time.
How did you do it?
(provide specific evidence (audio, visual…)
About the page of the internet,
there is
not any mystery. One day I started looking different pages and after a time, I
found one and I started reading because I saw that could be interesting for my
process.
On the other hand, like I said before, I asked a friend to help me and one afternoon she came to my house to practice the dance.
What did you learn? Would you make any suggestions for future practice?
After looking the link
on the Internet, I learnt the different names which is known the dance, some historical
dates and the steps that I have to remember when I will practice the dance.
About the day I stayed with my friend Ane, she gave me tricks to remember the order of the steps and that was very useful for me.
Where did your knowledge come
from? Which sources did you choose/use?
When our group decided that we were going to learn about the Aurreskua, I have to say that I knew which was the dance because I have seen in
different events but I did not know how to dance it. Because of that, we asked
to a friend to dance the Aurresku and we recorded it. Apart for that, I saw
different videos on the Internet and I asked help to my friend Ane. With all
that, I try to practice and to improve little by little.
What type of strategies and resources have you used when coming across obstacles?
Like I said before, I found help on the Internet and I asked
for help to a friend to practice the dance with her and to told me about some
tricks.
What type of involvement have you had so far in the project?
I think that I am trying to do all
what it is in my hands to practice and learn the dance. Since I finished the
stage at the university, I have taken some time to practice, alone or with the
help of someone, so I agree with my process and with the work that I am doing.
Which skills do you think you have acquired?
I do not know if I have taken any skill until now. I think that to
acquire some skills I have to be in a formal group as I was five years ago.
When I went there, we practice during a long time and I was with lot of professional
people so it was easier to learn more things and also to saw the things I did
it wrong. Now the process is being different, I know that I am learning a dance
that I did not know before and I am working hard to learn it, but I miss the
opportunity to be as I was five years ago and learn and work as I did it
before.
What type of strategies and resources are you using so as to improve your language skills?
During the
week I go to an academy because I am working on the First Certificate Exam and
there, I am improving my English level. Apart from that, I like reading books
so I try to take notes about all the new vocabulary and I try to improve my
English as much as possible.
How do you feel about the project so far?
Talk about your feelings and emotions.

Since the last time I
did this work I have continued learning and practicing the steps to improve.
For that, I have done different things.
On the one hand, I have continued
finding new videos on the Internet, I have practiced more times with my friend
Ane and also alone. In the other work ( the first Google classroom work ) I
said that my friend Ane gave me tricks to remember the order of the steps, so
this time, when I have been practicing alone, I tried to remember all that
tricks to put them in practice.
On the other hand, last Thursday we
had a meeting in Eskoriatza with our teachers ( Naiara and Alexander ) to speak
about our final work. There, I stayed with Jone and Goiatz and I took time to
ask how were they practicing the dance. Thereby, we helped each other giving
new ideas and new strategies to improve during the process.
When
our group decided that we were going to learn about the Aurreskua we asked to a
friend to dance the Aurresku and we recorded it. Thereby, we would have the opportunity to rehearse the dance at home and that has been what we have done. I have seen that video to rehearse
and with the help of my friend Ane, I have tried to improve.
I have learned new things about the dance, for example, which are the steps of the dance because 15 days
ago I did not know very good. At the present, I know all of the steps and
little by little I am learning which is the order of them.
I
have to emphasize that in
this part of the work I do not have too much new information to add regarding
the last time. When our group decided that we were going to learn about the
Aurreskua, I have to say that I knew which was the dance because I have seen in
different events but I did not know how to dance it. Because of that, we asked
to a friend to dance the Aurresku and we recorded it. Apart from that, little
by little I have been seeing different videos on the Internet, I have asked for
help to my friend Ane again and I have saw the first video we recorded to a
friend to rehearse at home too. With all that, I am trying to practice and to
improve.
Like I said in the last
work, I think that I am trying to do all what it is in my hand to practice and learn
the dance. Since I finished the stage in the university, I have taken some time
to practice, alone or with the help of someone. I want to add that I am very
motivated with the challenge I have and with the work I am doing during the
process.
The
work is not being very easy. I am having more difficulties than I thought to
learn all the steps. Even so, step by step and with the help of different
people or videos, I am going forward and I am very motivated to continued
rehearsing and improving.
What
type of strategies and resources are you using so as to improve your language
skills?
Like I said previously, during the week I
go to an academy because I am working on the First Certificate Exam and there I
am improving my English level. Apart from that, I like reading books so I try
to take notes about all the new vocabulary I find and I try to speak in English
as much as possible to learn new things.
How do you feel
about the project so far? Talk about your feelings and emotions.
Little by little I see that I am improving
a lot. At first I did not know which were the steps of the dance and how was
the order of them. However, after rehearsing a lot and with the help of
different people I am learning all that and I feel very happy. I am trying to
work a lot to learn the dance, to improve my English and also to improve my
group project. Like I said before, I am very excited with the goal we have
chosen and I want to achieve it, so I am trying very hard to get it.

Since the last time I did this work
I have continued learning and practicing the steps to improve. For that, I have
done different things.
On the one hand, I have continued
practicing the dance watching the video we recorded to Mikele and I tried
remembering all the tricks that my friend Ane gave to me.
On the other hand, last Thursday, 11, we had a meeting in Eskoriatza with
our teachers ( Naiara and Alexander ) to speak about our final work. There, I
stayed with Jone and Goiatz and I took time to ask how were they practicing the
dance. Since we were there, we rehearsed the dance and helped each other giving
new ideas. In this case, Goiatz told us about one video she was using to
practice the Aurreskua and I liked too much. Therefore, during this time I have
used the video to practice:
When our group decided
that we were going to learn about the Aurreskua we asked to a friend to dance
the Aurresku and we recorded it. Thereby, we would have the opportunity to
rehearse the dance at home. We have given advices each other to practice and I
have to say that I have seen the video that Goiatz taught us the last day we
met in Eskoriatza and I have used to practice too.
I have learned new
things about the dance. On the one hand, which are the steps of the dance,
because more or less one month ago I did not know very good and little by
little I am learning the order of all of them. On the other hand, I know some
trick to improve the dance and I have internalized the rhythm of the dance too,
so, now with all that learning the steps is being much easier.
I have to emphasize that
in this part of the work I do not have too much new information to add
regarding the last time. When our group decided that we were going to learn
about the Aurreskua, I have to say that I knew which the dance was because I
have seen in different events but I did not know how to dance it. Because of
that, we asked to a friend to dance the Aurresku and we recorded it. Apart for
that, little by little I have been seeing different videos on the Internet, I
have asked for help to my friend Ane. Jone, Goiatz and me recorded the dance
the last time we met in Eskoriatza to practice the dance, we have also helped
each other giving new ideas and new strategies to improve and I saw one video
that Goiatz recommended. With all that, I am trying to practice and to improve.
Like I said in the last
work, I found help on the internet in different videos, I asked for help to a
friend, I practiced the dance with the members of the group and I do it alone
too.
Like I said in the last
work, I think that I am trying to do all what it is in my hands to practice and
learn the dance. Since I finished the stage in the university, I have taken
some time to practice, alone or with the help of someone. I have seen different
videos I have found on Youtube and other video that Goiatz recommended the day
we met in Eskoriatza.
The work is not being
very easy, even so, until I have learn the rhythm of the dance, some tricks to
improve and which are the steps I have say that the process is being easier.
Sometimes I forget the order of the steps or I anticipate the beat of the
music. Even so, step by step, practicing a lot and with the help of different
people or videos, I am going forward and I am very motivated to continued
rehearsing and improving.
Like I said previously,
the strategies I am using to improve my English during the process do not
change too much until now. During the week I go to an academy because I am
working on the First Certificate Exam and there I am improving my English
level. Apart from that, I have to say that I like reading books so I try to
take notes about all the new vocabulary I find and try to learn it to improve
my vocabulary. Apart from all that, I have to add that I have started giving
English particular classes to some children and I am realizing that little by
little I speak more fluently, I am getting more security and I am improving my
vocabulary too.
Little by little I see
that I am improving a lot. At first I did not know which the steps of the dance
were and how was the order of the them. However, after rehearsing a lot and
with the help of different people and videos I am learning all and I feel very
happy. I am trying to work a lot to learn the dance, to improve my English and
also my group project. Like I said before, I am very excited with the goal we
have chosen. I want to achieve it, so I am trying very hard to get it.
